Delta Dental

Delta Dental was the first company to specialize in dental benefits. Delta Dental is the largest and most experienced provider of dental benefits in the United States. It was founded in 1966 when local dental organizations in California, Oregon, and Washington banded together to create Delta Dental Plans Association in order to coordinate dental benefits programs for customers with employees in multiple states.

Today, Delta Dental Plans Association is made up of 39 independent Delta Dental member companies serving customers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rice. These member companies provide dental benefits to more than 40 million people, and 81,000 groups.
